Archipelago is an exhibition of abstract art made by local Southampton artists. These artists have been active in the city for many years and continue to contribute to the cultural life of Southampton. The contrasting individual styles can be described as a form of creative archipelago. Each artists’ practice having a distinct style but also contributing to a common vision of expression using very personal abstract pictorial languages.
